Job Description
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity serving K-8 students as a Special Education professional in the Cleveland, OH area (near 44114), with placements across Midtown, Woodland Hills, and Glenville. This full-time, hybrid position offers a blend of in-person and remote work—work from home on Mondays and Fridays and collaborate onsite Tuesdays through Thursdays. The assignment begins ASAP and runs through the end of May 2026.
Your focus will be on Special Education case management, not lead teaching. You’ll oversee an annual caseload of up to 100 IEPs, managing all aspects of the IEP process, including writing plans, facilitating meetings, and executing full administrative duties across one school in each of the three neighborhoods. Deep familiarity with the Same Goal IEP platform is essential, as you'll leverage this tool for documentation and collaboration.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license for Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intense needs (required—no emergency or temporary credentials, no sponsorships)
- Previous experience in Special Education case management for K-8 students
- Proficient with the Same Goal IEP platform
- Strong skills in IEP drafting, scheduling and conducting meetings, and documentation
- Excellent communication and time management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a large IEP caseload for K-8 students, handling annual reviews and compliance
- Draft, update, and implement IEPs using the Same Goal platform
- Lead and facilitate IEP meetings and coordinate with families and school staff
- Ensure all administrative and regulatory requirements are met
