Empower high school students and make a lasting impact over the 26/27 school year as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist! This rewarding contract opportunity offers you the chance to work with a diverse caseload of 50-60 students, including high schoolers as well as some out-of-district (OOD) and parochial students, providing comprehensive support across multiple settings.

Bring your expertise and compassion to a collaborative school environment serving students with a range of communication needs. Supported by a dedicated staff and robust resources, you'll play a key role in helping students develop essential communication skills for academic and social success.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut SLP license required
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence holders (CCC)
  • Prior school-based experience with high school-aged students is an advantage
  • Strong communication, adaptability, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and document speech/language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address both academic and functional needs
  • Partner with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student growth in inclusive settings
  • Travel as needed to OOD and parochial sites to deliver services
