Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (required)
- Previous experience in special education within a school setting preferred

- Confident communicator with parents, guardians, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency with remote teaching tools (for virtual applicants)
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability in diverse classroom environments
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that cater to each student’s unique abilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure cohesive support
- Modify curriculum and classroom activities for optimal accessibility
- Track student progress, document data, and complete required reporting in a timely manner
- Foster a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere promoting inclusion
- Engage regularly with families to provide updates and resources
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to school initiatives
