Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract role supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade as a skilled school-based Occupational Therapist. This engaging position spans the academic year, beginning September 9, 2026, and running through June 30, 2027, across four nearby locations near Holly Springs, MS. You’ll focus your expertise on a manageable caseload—25 students—allowing you to provide targeted, meaningful interventions and truly make a difference.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Mississippi
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with IEP processes, pediatric and adolescent therapy methodologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and support staff
- Ability to adapt techniques to suit a variety of ages and developmental needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct OT services to students spanning Pre-K to 12th grade, ensuring individualized support
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized OT plans and goals in alignment with IEPs
- Collaborate with school teams and families to promote student success across academic and functional domains
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment, progress, and service delivery
- Serve four educational locations (with two conveniently within a short two-minute commute)
- Provide consultative services and participate in student evaluations as needed
