Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist | Jamaica, New York

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a knowledgeable Pharmacist to support a busy retail pharmacy environment on a per diem basis with flexible scheduling on select days starting October 1st. This role is ideal for a Pharmacy professional with strong community and retail experience looking to apply their expertise in a fast-paced setting.

Location:

• Jamaica, NY

Schedule:

• Dayshift: 10:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Initial dates: October 1, 2, 5 with continuing opportunities thereafter

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Provide excellent patient care and counseling
• Utilize PioneerRx software for prescription order entry and management
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other staff to ensure smooth operations
• Support immunization delivery as needed

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current, active, and unrestricted New York State Pharmacist License required
• Proven community or retail pharmacy experience
• Immunization certification is preferred
• Strong knowledge and experience with PioneerRx pharmacy system highly preferred
• Spanish fluency is a plus; primary translation support is available from pharmacy technicians
