Seeking an enthusiastic educator to inspire and support students for a full-time Special Education teaching role focused on 4th and 5th grade ELA. Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification
- Familiarity with elementary ELA curriculum for 4th or 5th grades
- Experience with differentiated instruction and IEP implementation
- Strong commitment to equity and inclusion in the classroom
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Organized and adaptable, able to tailor learning plans as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver dynamic ELA instruction tailored to individual student needs
- Develop and implement IEPs, monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies as required
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support student integration
- Engage with families concerning student achievement and well-being
- Foster a nurturing environment where students are empowered to achieve their potential
