Special Education Teacher - Sisters, Oregon

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Oregon TSPC teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher, case manager, or similar role in a school setting
• Strong understanding of IEP development, compliance, and implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and faculty
• Comfortable working independently in a remote learning environment
• Commitment to fostering positive outcomes for students of varying ability levels

Core Responsibilities:

• Case management for approximately 35 students receiving special education services
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with parents, general educators, specialists, and support staff to provide comprehensive support
• Conduct virtual instruction and facilitate accommodations according to IEP goals
• Maintain detailed student records and ensure adherence to Oregon and federal guidelines
• Provide ongoing consultation and guidance to other educational professionals involved in student care
