Job Description

As a contract Speech Language Pathologist, you’ll work a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, beginning as soon as possible through late May 2027. This role focuses on providing in-person speech and language services across school sites near Augusta, GA.
Your day-to-day will involve conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student progress. You will also keep thorough, timely documentation in alignment with district and state standards, helping students build essential communication skills for academic and social success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License and GaPSC Educator Certification
- Experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Ability to provide evidence-based therapy and evaluations for a diverse student caseload
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and experience participating in IEP meetings
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Commitment to maintaining precise and compliant records
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as indicated in their IEPs
- Conduct assessments and participate in eligibility and planning meetings
- Develop, document, and update individualized goals and progress reports
- Engage in ongoing collaboration with educators and family members
