A respected, faith-based law firm in Fort Worth is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal to join its growing practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for a proactive, highly organized professional who enjoys managing complex litigation matters, working closely with attorneys, and providing outstanding client service. The firm represents individuals, churches, ministries, nonprofits, and businesses in a variety of litigation matters, including probate disputes, civil litigation, appellate matters, and organizational conflicts.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 DOE

About the Role

This position will serve as a trusted right hand to a busy litigation attorney and play a critical role in keeping matters organized, moving efficiently, and delivering exceptional client service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing litigation matters from inception through trial.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and manage litigation files
  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
  • Prepare and manage discovery requests and responses
  • Create pleading shells and litigation templates
  • Calendar deadlines and monitor case activity
  • Handle state and federal court filings, primarily in state court
  • Assist with trial and deposition preparation
  • Manage document production and organization
  • Prepare Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities
  • Perform citation checking and proofreading
  • Communicate with clients regarding case status and updates
  • Proactively track case progress and alert attorneys to upcoming deadlines and developments
Qualifications

Required
  • Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience
  • Strong civil litigation and discovery experience
  • Experience managing cases from inception through trial
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong proofreading, grammar, and writing abilities
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
Preferred
  • Probate litigation experience
  • Appellate experience
  • State and federal e-filing experience
  • Trial preparation experience
