Special Education Teacher | Elk River, Minnesota

This contract opportunity is based within an established school’s "Ready, Set, Launch" program—designed for learners with autism and varying developmental needs. Qualifications:

• Hold a current Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 Special Education Teaching license (required).
• Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged students with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt instruction, create engaging learning environments, and manage classroom behaviors positively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students within the Ready, Set, Launch program, aligning educational goals with individual needs.
• Implement effective behavior management strategies and work closely with related services staff.

• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom that celebrates diverse abilities and strengths.
• Engage regularly with families and colleagues to review student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
