Special Education Teacher - Terrebonne, Oregon

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and active Oregon TSPC teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher or in a similar case management role, ideally in a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, IDEA regulations, and best practices in special education.
• Comfort working remotely with proficiency in virtual instruction platforms and digital documentation.
• Outstanding communication skills for interacting with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and differentiated instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage an assigned caseload of approximately 35 special education students.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related documentation.
• Deliver engaging, personalized virtual instruction and support services based on student abilities and goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and administrators to ensure seamless integration of services.
• Maintain ongoing communication with families regarding student progress, needs, and strategies for success.
• Meet compliance deadlines and provide necessary reporting.
