Job Description

Candidates must hold a valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Ohio Intervention Specialist license is required
- Demonstrated experience teaching or supporting students with IEPs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and support staff
- Ability to deliver individualized instruction, both in-person or virtually
- Proficiency in adapting curriculum to meet various learning styles and abilities
- Commitment to promoting inclusive, positive learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and other specialists to integrate supports
- Assess academic and behavioral progress, maintaining thorough documentation
- Engage families in the educational process and provide regular progress updates
- Utilize evidence-based strategies and interventions to support student success
- Create a safe, nurturing, and respectful classroom community
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
