You'll play a pivotal role in rotating between three welcoming school environments, making an impact by assisting teachers who are managing above-average caseloads.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities.
  • Support and collaborate with on-site teachers to help manage caseloads and deliver effective individualized learning plans.
  • Travel between three school sites within the district each week to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and maintain all documentation as required.
  • Adapt lessons and instructional strategies to meet students’ diverse learning needs.
  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and support staff to optimize student outcomes.
  • Monitor student progress and modify interventions based on data and feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Current California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification for Mild/Moderate Special Education (required).
  • Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher, ideally in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple sites and with diverse student populations.
  • Proficiency in IEP development and special education compliance.

This is a highly desirable, part-time .6 FTE position working three days per week, running from ASAP through the end of the school year. Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
