This rewarding, full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking to work with a dynamic high school caseload of 50-60 students. The role offers a variety of experiences, including some out-of-district (OOD) and parochial school responsibilities, making each day both meaningful and engaging.

Your expertise as a certified SLP (CCC or CFY) will play a vital role in serving students, collaborating with educational teams, and shaping positive outcomes throughout the year. This setting allows you to expand your clinical skills while building strong relationships with students and colleagues in a supportive environment.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Current Connecticut SLP license (required)
  • Experience with high school-aged students preferred
  • SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials
  • Familiarity with educational best practices in speech-language pathology
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload, including OOD and parochial students
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to high school students
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and families
  • Support students in various learning environments, including some OOD and parochial settings
  • Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to the mutual success of your students
