This contract opportunity calls for an experienced paraprofessional, ready to provide dedicated, one-on-one assistance to a student throughout the school day. You’ll play an important role in fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.

What you’ll bring:

• Active Substitute Certificate registered with DESE
• Prior school-based experience, particularly in managing classroom behavior
• Reliable transportation for daily commuting
• Willingness to complete district-specific fingerprinting requirements
• Professionalism, patience, and a student-centered approach
• Capable of working independently and adapting to a dynamic school environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Support a single student’s learning needs and behavioral goals as directed by teaching staff
• Aid in academic tasks, organization, and social integration throughout the school day
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to provide consistent support
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold school policies and procedures
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative educational experience for the student
• Work within scheduled hours: 9:00 AM to 4:25 PM

Contract details:

• 1:1 assignment at an elementary school
• Contract runs from start as soon as possible through end of October
• One opening available
