HVAC Instructor – No Teaching Experience Required

Brockton, MA | $65,000–$75,000 + $2,000 Sign-On Bonus

Are you an experienced HVAC Technician ready for a career change but not ready to leave the trade behind? This is an opportunity to take the knowledge you’ve built in the field and use it to train the next generation of HVAC professionals.

No teaching experience is required. We’re looking for your real-world HVAC expertise — paid instructor training and ongoing support are provided to help you successfully transition from technician to instructor.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver classroom and hands-on HVAC instruction
  • Demonstrate HVAC tools, equipment, troubleshooting, and repair techniques
  • Teach both residential and commercial HVAC concepts
  • Share real-world field knowledge and industry best practices
  • Coach and mentor students as they develop their technical skills
  • Help prepare students for successful careers in the HVAC industry
  • Track student progress and provide constructive feedback

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of HVAC field experience
  • Current Massachusetts Oil Burner Certificate required
  • Residential and commercial HVAC knowledge
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts and work with students from different backgrounds
  • Ability to complete required background checks and state approval requirements

Previous teaching experience is NOT required.

If you’ve trained apprentices, helped newer technicians, explained repairs to homeowners, or simply enjoy sharing what you know, you may already have many of the skills needed to be a great instructor.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $65,000–$75,000 annual salary
  • $2,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days

Schedule Options

Day Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 6:45 AM–3:15 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Evening Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
