HVAC Technician
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial building systems. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, completing repairs, and keeping building systems operating efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems and equipment
Diagnose and repair boilers, heating systems, ventilation systems, and related mechanical components
Perform preventive maintenance and respond to HVAC and facility service needs
Operate and monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) to support efficient building performance
Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Perform plumbing repairs related to HVAC and building systems
Assist with HVAC upgrades, installations, and other facility projects
Perform basic carpentry and painting as needed to support repairs and installations
Work with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
Follow established safety procedures and building standards
Coordinate work to ensure projects and repairs are completed safely and on schedule
Qualifications:
Previous commercial HVAC, facilities maintenance, or mechanical experience
Strong knowledge of boilers, heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and cooling systems
Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment
Knowledge of plumbing systems and repairs
Familiarity with Building Management Systems and HVAC controls
Understanding of cooling towers and related building equipment
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and system documentation
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance priorities
Commitment to safe work practices
Preferred Experience:
Commercial or industrial facility maintenance
Building automation/control systems
MEP systems
AutoCAD or Autodesk Revit
Fire and life safety systems
Project or energy management experience
