Associate Attorney

This is a long-term, in-office opportunity ideal for an attorney who is a strong skilled writer, strategic thinker, and team player interested in continued professional growth while handling challenging and meaningful family law matters. Firm handles complex family law cases, including high-asset matters and contested custody cases, providing attorneys with access to the resources needed to thoroughly prepare and effectively represent clients.

Minimum Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
• Active license to practice law in the State of Alabama
• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases, priorities, and deadlines
• Sound professional judgment and discretion

Preferred Experience

• 2–5+ years of legal experience preferred
• Family law experience strongly preferred
• Experience with complex or high-asset family law matters is a plus
• Experience with contested custody matters is a plus
• Background or knowledge in accounting, finance, or business is beneficial
