Insight Global is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician for a Pfizer facility. This candidate will join a highly skilled operations and maintenance team supporting a pharmaceutical facility in New Haven, CT. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and HVAC maintenance background with experience troubleshooting commercial air handlers, exhaust fans, motors, bearings, and building automation systems. This individual will perform preventative maintenance, respond to equipment issues, support building operations, and help ensure critical facility systems remain operational. Candidates with BAS controls experience, particularly Siemens, and a strong facilities maintenance background will be highly valued for this opportunity.

Day-to-Day:

  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and scheduled PMs
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, pumps, motors, agitators, and building systems
  • Respond to facility work orders and emergency maintenance requests
  • Maintain and repair commercial air handlers, exhaust fans, and HVAC systems
  • Replace motors, bearings, and other mechanical components
  • Support building automation and control systems
  • Utilize CMMS to manage maintenance activities and document work
  • Perform general facility maintenance, including minor carpentry, painting, and sheet metal work
  • Work with contractors, engineers, project managers, and facility leadership
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and PPE requirements
  • Provide after-hours/on-call support as needed

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of HVAC repair and preventative maintenance experience
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in facilities, general maintenance, construction, or related trades
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing commercial HVAC equipment
  • Experience with commercial air handlers and exhaust fans
  • Experience replacing motors and motor bearings
  • Knowledge of building HVAC systems and preventive maintenance programs
  • Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS), preferably Siemens
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 support environment with occasional on-call responsibilities
  • Ability to obtain facility credentials/access badge
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders/scaffolding

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • HVAC certification or HVAC license
  • Associate Degree (AAS) in HVAC, Controls, Mechanical Technology, or related field
  • HVAC controls experience
  • Experience with CMMS/EAMS systems
  • Pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or industrial facility experience
  • Experience with chillers, boilers, air compressors, steam systems, and pneumatic controls
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:00PM with on-call shifts as needed.

Compensation: $38-$42/ hour.
