Make an impact in the classroom by supporting students’ growth and success in special education settings. Full-time and part-time contract opportunities are available for educators holding an active EC General Curriculum license. Candidates will work in collaborative, student-focused school communities near Thomasville, NC.
Openings Include:
- EC Resource Teacher (Full-Time): Two positions at the elementary level.
- CASE Teacher (Full-Time): One opening in a self-contained classroom, focused on Communication, Academics, and Social Engagement for students with autism or autism-like needs while delivering the general curriculum.
- EC Teacher (Full-Time): Middle school teaching role.
- EC Resource Teacher (Part-Time): 20 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, serving K–2 students in a structured, consistent schedule (8:45 AM – 1:45 PM).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold an active EC General Curriculum license (Adapted Curriculum licenses cannot be accepted).
- Background check and standard state credentialing required.
- Experience or strong comfort level with self-contained settings—especially for the CASE classroom at Davis Townsend Elementary—is essential.
- Commitment to scheduled hours for part-time opportunities is required.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a passion for supporting diverse learners.

- Deliver engaging instruction aligned with the general curriculum.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that addresses individual student needs.
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with colleagues and families.
