Inventory Control Specialist

Position Overview

Support a new product launch by managing inventory control, material traceability, and documentation in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for receiving and tracking materials, maintaining ERP records, and kitting parts for engineering testing and assembly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, process, and track incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and traceability within an ERP system.
  • Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy.
  • Manage shipping and receiving activities, including invoice closure and inventory notifications.
  • Kit and organize parts for engineering work orders and assembly needs.
  • Handle PCBAs and electronic components with care.
  • Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to support product launch activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on inventory control experience, including receiving, shipping, and cycle counting.
  • ERP system experience (Oracle ERP preferred).
  • Ability to manage electronic components and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Familiarity with work orders and inventory processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Availability to work part-time, preferably 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Eastern Time.
Work Environment

Part-time position based in a Boulder manufacturing facility supporting advanced aerospace and defense products. Requires regular use of ERP systems and handling of electronic components while collaborating closely with engineering and production teams.lves regular handling of machine parts, PCBAs, and electronic components, as well as consistent use of an ERP system to manage inventory and documentation.

This is a Contract position based out of Boulder, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
