Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students as a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist. This onsite assignment, running through late May 2027, offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference for diverse learners in a dynamic educational environment.

You’ll be working directly with monolingual and bilingual caseloads, where your expertise will be primarily utilized for evaluations and case management—with occasional therapy sessions as needed. Collaborate with passionate educators and families to help students achieve their communication goals.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
  • Previous school-based SLP experience, especially in elementary/middle settings
  • Familiarity with both monolingual and bilingual caseloads is ideal
  • Strong skills in assessment, report writing, and case management
  • Ability to adapt and communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
  • Flexibility and organizational skills to manage a full-time, 37.5-hour workweek onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive speech and language evaluations for referred students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Oversee ongoing case management and monitor student progress
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions as required
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and communication growth
  • Provide parent and teacher consultation to foster supportive learning environments
  • Maintain accurate documentation, adhering to all state and federal guidelines
