Qualifications:
- MA Special Education license (Moderate Disabilities, grades 5–8)
- Sheltered English Immersion Endorsement required
- Experience with the Wilson Reading Program strongly preferred
- Reading Specialist certification preferred but not mandatory
- Prior work supporting students with language-based disabilities
- Ability to provide inclusion support, direct instruction, and IEP services
- Strong collaboration skills for effective planning and co-planning
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted reading instruction and intervention to middle school students
- Support inclusion classrooms and provide modifications for language-based disabilities
- Implement and monitor IEP goals and academic progress
- Utilize research-based reading strategies, including Wilson Reading
- Collaborate regularly with general education teachers and related services
