Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Comfortable providing direct and consultative services to students in grades K-2
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and deliver tailored therapy for K-2 students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Work one-on-one and in small groups employing evidence-based interventions
- Monitor student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and communicate results with staff and families
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic student support
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development sessions to stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
