Job Description
This role combines hands-on assembly and molding work in a fast-paced production environment. Assemblers use hand and power tools to install metal shells inside plastic components and build cable assemblies for battery mold castings. Molders operate molding machines and ovens to create products from plastic and other materials, forming, casting, and shaping parts used in various applications. Both positions require mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently as part of an organized team.
Responsibilities- Use hand tools and power tools to install metal shells inside plastic parts after they are produced.
- Run and route cables to assemble into mold castings for batteries, including banding cables and assembling large cable configurations.
- Operate crimpers and insert hot connectors coming directly out of the oven into assemblies safely and accurately.
- Set up, operate, and monitor molding machines and ovens to mold, form, cast, shape, or carve products from one or multiple materials.
- Produce molded products such as plastic components, tiles, pipes, candles, figurines, and similar items according to production specifications.
- Perform general production and assembly tasks, including machine operation, part handling, and basic tooling activities.
- Follow quality control procedures to ensure all assembled and molded products meet required standards and specifications.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and keep pace with fast-moving production lines and schedules.
- Work safely around molding machines, ovens, and tool tables, following all safety guidelines and using proper protective equipment as required.
- Collaborate with team members in an organized, team-oriented work setting to meet daily and weekly production goals.
- Support basic mold repair and tooling adjustments as needed to keep equipment running effectively.
- Stand for extended periods while performing assembly, machine operation, and general labor tasks.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work comfortably with hand tools and power tools.
- Experience in assembly or general production environments, preferably in manufacturing.
- Ability to operate basic machinery, including molding machines, ovens, crimpers, and related equipment.
- Comfort working with plastic injection molding processes and mold machines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control in both assembly and molding tasks.
- Ability to stand for long periods and keep up with a fast-paced production environment.
- Basic understanding of machine operation and general labor practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Willingness and ability to work Monday through Friday on assigned shifts (Assembler: 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.; Molder: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.).
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with injection molding and plastic injection molding processes.
- Background in automotive body work or similar hands-on mechanical roles.
- Familiarity with mold repair, tooling, and basic maintenance of production equipment.
- General production and machine operator experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Comfort working with automation in a production environment.
- Spanish language skills are welcomed and supported.
- Desire to grow within a structured progression, with three levels of advancement available in the company.

Work EnvironmentThe work takes place in a structured production setting with an organized, team-focused atmosphere. Employees work around molding machines, ovens, tool tables, and other equipment used for plastic injection molding, automation, and general assembly. The environment is fast paced, and team members must be able to keep up with production demands while maintaining quality and safety. Work is performed on-site, standing for extended periods, and following standard manufacturing attire and safety practices appropriate for a hands-on industrial facility. Shifts run Monday through Friday, with Assemblers working from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Molders working from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fall River, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
