This full-time contract role is onsite and extends through June 10, 2027, offering the chance to foster communication skills in young learners and engage with a diverse student population.
Key Qualifications:
- Active California SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience delivering services within school settings to elementary and/or middle school students
- Proven ability to manage caseloads across multiple sites and adapt interventions to differing student needs
- Commitment to onsite presence; remote work is not available for this assignment
- SLPA certifications are not accepted for this position
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to monitor progress and adjust strategies
- Deliver direct therapy services within the classroom and therapy settings
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records, documentation, and progress reports
- Support IEP meetings and contribute insights for ongoing program improvement
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere that encourages communication growth
