Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Forklift/Material Handlers to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work on either A Crew (Tuesday - Friday, 5am - 3:30pm) or B Crew (Monday - Thursday, 4pm - 2:30pm). This role involves working four 10-hour shifts, with overtime typically scheduled on non-working weekdays, and occasionally on weekends if necessary. Steel-toed shoes are required on the first day.
Responsibilities
- Feed raw materials onto the production line.
- Stage material for shipping.
- Monitor the production process.
- Perform other production-related activities as instructed by management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workplace.
- Complete final packaging of product, following work instructions.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met.
- Participate in continuous training within the production department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Experience in material handling/forklift.
- Proficiency with RF scanners.
- General labor and production skills.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds repetitively and perform physical tasks such as squatting, bending, and ducking.
- Good attendance record.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.

Our facility spans a 30,000 sq. ft warehouse, separate from the manufacturing floor, and is part of a fully renovated 150,000 sq. ft space. The plant is spotless and climate-controlled, ensuring a comfortable and clean work environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pontiac, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.55 - $18.90/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
