Job Description
As a Technologist, you will be responsible for explaining procedures and processes to patients, ensuring a safe, healthy, and professional work environment. You will perform imaging tasks, review them for proper identification and quality control, and maintain required documentation. Additionally, you will perform medical assistant duties such as taking vital signs, recording health history, and managing electronic medical records (EMR).

Essential Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology and medical record management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Understanding of radiation safety and imaging techniques.
- Experience with Epic and medical assisting.
- Strong patient care skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience with Advanced MD and Epic (EMR) is preferred.
- Front and back office experience.
- Strong customer service skills, especially in handling upset patients.
Work Environment
This position offers 36-40 hours per week with flexible scheduling, including shifts Monday through Friday and every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Weekend shifts are 8 hours, with compensatory time off during the week. An example schedule includes alternating 8-hour and 12-hour shifts. You will work in an urgent care setting, requiring good customer service skills and the ability to assist in the front office. The environment is fast-paced and demands resilience and adaptability. Physical requirements include lifting a minimum of 25 lbs., pushing and pulling a minimum of 50 lbs., and standing for a minimum of 6 hours a day. Initial training includes Epic training and front desk orientation. Locations include Neptune City, NJ, and Eatontown, NJ.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocean City, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.00 - $44.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
