LHH is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. This position will be responsible for full-cycle AP functions, vendor communication, invoice processing, reconciliations, payment processing, and supporting the broader accounting team as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices and payment requests, including accurate GL coding
- Review invoices for appropriate supporting documentation and obtain missing information as needed
- Perform 3-way matching for raw material purchases and equivalent matching for non-PO purchases
- Reconcile invoices, payments, and other accounting documents as needed
- Respond to vendor and internal department inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare check runs, wire transfers, and electronic payment requests
- Maintain organized electronic and hard-copy AP files and records
- Prepare Excel spreadsheets and generate reports, including AP aging and vendor spend reports
- Research purchasing and vendor information within the ERP system
- Assist with month-end close and other accounting-related activities
- Provide support with Accounts Receivable cash applications as needed
- Assist with gathering documentation for year-end audits
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Support other accounting projects and duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is a plus
- 2-3 years of Accounts Payable experience required
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Strong ERP experience; SAP Business One experience highly preferred
- Experience with AI-enabled AP automation tools is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with vendors, internal departments, and other members of the finance team
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible team player who is comfortable taking on a variety of accounting responsibilities
