Occupational Therapist (OT) - School Based

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide school-based services for Wayne RESA. The Occupational Therapist will work with students to support their participation and success in the educational environment by addressing fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills.

Assignment Details

• Onsite position
• 2.5 days per week
• School year assignment
• August 24 through June 4

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students and develop individualized therapy plans
• Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and school-based team discussions
• Support student independence and access to the educational environment

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage caseload and documentation requirements effectively
• Commitment to supporting student growth and success
