This full-time, contract position is available immediately and will extend through approximately October 30th, 2026, with the possibility of a year-long assignment depending on staffing needs. The opening is ideal for professionals passionate about nurturing kindergarten-aged children in a general education setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a current and active GaPSC paraprofessional certification
• Demonstrated pediatric experience, with preference given to those who have worked in school environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teaching staff
• Ability to provide nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic support to young children as a class aid
• Commitment to professional conduct and dependability throughout the contract term

Role Overview:

• Serve as a classroom aide in a kindergarten general education classroom
• Work closely alongside a full-time teacher, supporting students’ learning and engagement throughout the school day
• Aid in classroom activities, preparation of materials, and individualized or group support as guided by the lead teacher
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes the social and academic development of all students
• No toileting responsibilities involved in this role at this time
• Maintain a consistent full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week
