What You'll Do
  • Serve as a trusted finance partner to business leaders, supporting budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and financial planning activities
  • Develop scalable financial processes, reporting frameworks, and business metrics that improve decision-making and operational effectiveness
  • Deliver actionable financial insights and recommendations that identify cost-saving opportunities and support business growth
  • Support strategic planning initiatives by evaluating financial risks, opportunities, and operational tradeoffs
  • Query and analyze large datasets using SQL, Excel, Cognos, Essbase, and other reporting tools to uncover meaningful trends and business insights
  • Build and enhance financial models supporting forecasting, scenario planning, variance analysis, and investment decisions
  • Drive adherence to internal controls, financial governance standards, and reporting accuracy
  • Partner closely with accounting teams on GAAP-related activities, financial reporting, and compliance initiatives
  • Support high-impact cross-functional projects, helping remove roadblocks and accelerate business outcomes
  • Present data-driven recommendations to management and key stakeholders in a clear, concise, and influential manner
Ideal Experience

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, accounting, or related analytical roles
  • Advanced Excel expertise, including financial modeling and complex data analysis
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and corporate finance fundamentals
  • Experience querying and analyzing data using SQL and enterprise reporting tools
  • Proven ability to translate large, complex datasets into actionable business recommendations
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA certification
  • Experience in public accounting, audit, or SOX/financial controls environments
  • Exposure to SEC reporting and compliance processes
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL, Cognos, Essbase, or similar analytical platforms
  • Experience supporting operations, customer service organizations, technology companies, or large-scale business units
  • Experience in high-growth technology, e-commerce, cloud, fintech, or consulting organizations

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Bellevue, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $56.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
