This onsite, full-time contract opportunity is designed for a passionate and energetic school psychologist eager to contribute expertise and positive energy to the school community. The position begins as soon as possible and extends through May 2027, offering long-term stability and rewarding experiences.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current 'Professional Special Services License' through the Colorado Department of Education is required (or proof of application for travelers).
  • Demonstrated experience in school psychology within elementary school settings is highly valued.
  • Exceptional communicative abilities—ideal candidates excel at articulating their background and clinical skills during interviews.
  • Energetic, lively, and positive demeanor, ready to engage with faculty, students, and families.
  • Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 40 students, supporting social, emotional, and academic needs.
  • Willingness to complete a two-step interview process with district leadership and school administration.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and provide direct services for a diverse caseload of students across Field Elementary and Hopkins Elementary.
  • Collaborate closely with educators and special education staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions.
  • Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering insights and recommendations.
  • Support staff and families with consultation and resources to foster student well-being.
  • Maintain thorough and compliant documentation per district and state guidelines.
