Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator Lead to join our team. The position offers opportunities for both 1st and 2nd shifts, with overtime potential. Competitive hourly rates are offered, with additional compensation for those with heading and forming experience.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate cold heading and thread rolling machines with guidance from trainers or mentors.
- Work from detailed engineering drawings and process documents to produce quality parts.
- Utilize precision measuring devices such as micrometers, dial calipers, and optical comparators.
- Prepare dies for use and troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
- Obtain and manage job packets, part drawings, and specifications.
- Install and remove tooling from machines using hand tools.
- Manage wire stock and maintain machine oil levels daily.
- Maintain a neat and orderly workplace.
- Complete time, production, and quality reports.
- Communicate effectively with operators across shifts.
- Observe all safety regulations and perform other duties as required.
- Mechanical and technical skills with prior manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges.
- Ability to read and understand engineering specifications.
- Basic computer skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools.

Work EnvironmentThe role involves working on the shop floor with access to advanced machinery and equipment. The position requires adherence to safety standards and may include wearing appropriate safety attire. Shifts are Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danboro, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
