Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: K–12
Primary Focus: Evaluation-heavy, all ages
Credential Required: Active Michigan Educator Certification

Position Overview

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support K–12 students in Holt, Michigan, during the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time position is heavily focused on student evaluations and provides an opportunity to work with students across all grade levels.

The ideal candidate will have strong assessment and evaluation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to helping students receive the appropriate educational support and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for K–12 students.
  • Administer and interpret appropriate academic, cognitive, behavioral, and psychological assessments.
  • Review student records, classroom data, and other relevant information.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed evaluation reports.
  • Participate in eligibility and special education meetings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related-service professionals.
  • Provide recommendations based on evaluation findings.
  • Support educational teams in developing appropriate student services and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate evaluation records and documentation.
  • Manage an evaluation-heavy caseload across all age groups.

Qualifications

  • Active Michigan Educator Certification required.
  • Active MI credentials only — pending credentials are not accepted.
  • School psychology and evaluation experience preferred.
  • Strong assessment and report-writing skills.
  • Experience working with students across multiple grade levels.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with school teams.
