LHH is excited to partner with a highly recognizable, award-winning Company on a search for a VP of Tax . The company offers a strong leadership team, significant long-term compensation considerations, and excellent work-from-home flexibility.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior tax leader looking to step into a highly visible role with significant influence over tax strategy, growth initiatives, and the continued evolution of the organization's tax function.

Description:
  • Oversee federal, state, and local income, franchise, gross receipts, sales and use, property, and other tax compliance across the Company's operating footprint.
  • Lead quarterly and annual income tax provision processes under ASC 740, including deferred taxes, uncertain tax positions, valuation allowances, and disclosures, as applicable.
  • Lead tax planning and due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, restructurings, recapitalizations, and strategic investments.
  • Own the tax incentives and economic development strategy
  • Evaluate the tax implications of debt financings, refinancings, capital raises, fund and ownership structures, tax distributions, withholding, and cash movement.
Requirements:
  • CPA
  • Proven Director or VP level experience
  • Big 4 experience is a plus
  • Strong federal and multi-state tax expertise
  • Big preference for leadership experience and expertise in real estate, development, construction, or similarly capital-intensive organizations
Compensation/Benefits:
  • Base up to $265,000 (plus bonus and LTIP potential)
  • Hybrid schedule (work from home flexibility)

Pay Details: $235,000.00 to $265,000.00 per year
