What You're Bringing:

• Valid and active Michigan Special Education Teaching license
• Experience working with children on the autism spectrum (ASD) preferred
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong communication skills to engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability and positivity when responding to student needs and challenges
• Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive, and respectful classroom environment
• Ability to participate in virtual interviews and meet onboarding requirements, including fingerprinting

What You'll Do:

• Provide specialized instruction for elementary students in an ASD classroom setting
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
• Monitor and document student progress towards IEP goals
• Collaborate with paraeducators, support staff, and other special education professionals
