Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time position; specific shift details will be coordinated with the facility

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR Tech)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in interventional radiology imaging procedures
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, with IR or CV endorsement preferred
  • Valid state license, or eligibility to obtain
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and sterile technique
  • Effective communication skills with patients, physicians, and care teams
  • Previous experience as an IR Tech in a hospital or acute care setting is highly valued

Role Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for interventional radiographic procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images used in physician-guided treatments
  • Assist the medical team during procedures by operating fluoroscopy units and other specialized equipment
  • Adhere to all sterile techniques and infection control protocols
  • Provide clear, compassionate instructions and support to patients throughout their imaging experience
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure optimal patient care and timely image delivery
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records and documentation

$2,686 - $2,842/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
