On Call Registered Nurse - $5k Sign On Bonus

Heritage Hospice is looking for an On Call Registered Nurse to join their dynamic team! This licensed RN provides weekday after hours and/or weekend support to the hospice program. This includes PRN patient visits, admissions and discharges, and office assistance.

Job Highlights:

-Schedule - 7days on, 7 days off

-Salaried role (40hrs)

Position Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Indiana
• Hospice, Home Health, or Long-Term Care experience preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team
• Must have knowledge & commitment to Hospice Philosophy of Care
• Must be flexible & cooperative in fulfilling role obligation
• CPR Certified

Physical Qualifications:

• Must be able to speak and hear in a manner understood by most persons
• Must be able to travel to patient’s place of residence
• Must be able to lift and transfer patients, using proper body mechanics
