Job Description
Make an impact supporting students across elementary and early childhood settings as a contract Occupational Therapist. In this school-based role, you’ll provide crucial support throughout the academic year, focusing on both direct services and comprehensive evaluations. This position is full-time, on-site, and exclusive to licensed Occupational Therapists.
Your assignment will begin by splitting your time between an elementary school and the Early Learning Center, covering a maternity leave. After the maternity coverage ends, you will continue full-time at the ELC, fostering growth and independence in young learners.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Occupational Therapist license
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough evaluations and deliver individualized, direct therapy services
- Confidence and comfort working with elementary and early childhood populations
- Commitment to working exclusively onsite for the duration of the contract
- Only Occupational Therapists will be considered; COTAs are not eligible for this position
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in elementary and early learning environments
- Perform comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with educational teams
- Maintain consistent documentation and progress monitoring as required by the school and state guidelines
- Adapt services to meet the distinct needs of diverse student populations during different phases of the assignment
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families to support optimal learning outcomes
