Job Summary
A prestigious global law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for a direct hire opportunity in Uptown Dallas, TX. This role will support a busy team of attorneys handling sophisticated commercial and complex litigation matters for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 organizations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Litigation Paralegal who enjoys high-level legal work, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to be part of a newly established Dallas office. The firm offers a professional, business-focused environment with respected attorneys, strong teamwork, and meaningful litigation exposure from case inception through trial, post-trial motions, and appeals.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable supporting multiple senior attorneys in a fast-paced, deadline-driven law firm setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys through all phases of complex commercial litigation, including case inception, discovery, trial preparation, trial, post-trial motions, and appeals.
- Manage case files, pleadings, discovery materials, exhibits, deposition materials, expert discovery, and trial binders.
- Draft and respond to written discovery, subpoenas, notices, routine pleadings, and court filings.
- Coordinate federal and state e-filings, document productions, document reviews, depositions, witness logistics, and courtroom support.
- Conduct legal and factual research using platforms such as Westlaw and Lexis, and prepare case chronologies, summaries, and analytical reports.
- Maintain accurate billing and timekeeping records while supporting a high-volume litigation caseload.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 to $115,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Location: Uptown Dallas, TX, McKinney Avenue area.
- Hybrid schedule: Monday through Thursday in office, Friday remote.
