Sales Account Representative

This position is critical to our business. Our valued employee must rely on attention to detail and accountability with a good understanding of project management. The individual that takes on this role, must possess a customer service mindset, while providing accurate and critical information to operations and the customer(s). This is a great opportunity for the incumbent to work in a challenging and technical industry, while working independently to drive personal goals with growth.

· To understand and communicate different technology systems to customer or potential customers to allow understanding of the systems they are purchasing.

· Responsible for translating or transposing customers needs and requirements in detailed proposals.

· Meet with customers on-site to go over project scopes to limit or eliminate future unexpected costly change orders.

· Meet with engineering to go over project scopes prior to presenting to customers.

· Document scope of work and offer details to the operations and engineering staff.

· Organize and prepare sales supporting documents to include contractual agreements for the customer.

· Continually focus on training and education focusing on technologies as it relates to the fire & security industry.

· Prospect new clients with marketing strategies via on-site or phones calls.

· Minimum of High School Diploma/GED/Vocational training.

· Must have a current and active driver's license.

· Highly motivated and able to work with little to no supervision.

· Able to multitask while staying professional.

· Must have experience with email & phone management.

· Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

· Comfortable managing and updating spreadsheets.
