Registered Nurse - Surgery / Operating Room

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Surgery and Operating Room settings to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert circulating nursing care across a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes within a dynamic surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide circulating nurse support during orthopedic, general, robotic-assisted, and select OB/GYN surgeries
• Coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process, maintaining sterile technique and safety standards
• Collaborate with surgical teams to anticipate supplies and equipment needs
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to any changes during procedures
• Document all relevant patient and procedure information accurately

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Surgery/Operating Room circulating RN experience
• Current North Carolina RN license or Compact RN license with North Carolina endorsement
• BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
• ACLS certification (required within 90 days of hire)
• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Comfortable circulating in orthopedic, general, da Vinci/robotic-assisted, and some OB/GYN procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
