We are looking for an experienced Sr. Human Resources Business Partner to support leaders and teams in Roseville, California through strategic HR guidance and hands-on partnership. This Contract position will play a key role in aligning people strategies with business priorities, strengthening workforce effectiveness, and fostering a compliant, high-performing environment. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, leadership presence, and the ability to influence decisions related to talent, employee relations, and organizational change.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with senior leaders to develop and carry out human resources strategies that support operational goals and long-term business direction.
• Advise management on workforce planning, team structure, succession considerations, and talent development initiatives across assigned client groups.
• Lead complex employee relations matters by assessing risk, conducting reviews, recommending solutions, and promoting fair, consistent outcomes.
• Guide leaders through organizational change by providing coaching, communication support, and practical plans that help teams adapt effectively.
• Monitor HR practices for alignment with employment laws, internal policies, and regulatory expectations, including compliance-related documentation and notices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve daily HR operations, strengthen service delivery, and support implementation of key people programs.
• Provide high-level consultation on performance management, leadership effectiveness, and resolution of workplace challenges.
• Support compliance activities tied to healthcare and employment requirements, including processes related to verification, coverage, and other regulated HR functions.• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least eight years of progressive human resources experience, including five or more years in a leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated success coaching, advising, and influencing leaders on organizational effectiveness, employee concerns, and business-related people decisions.
• Strong background in employee relations, policy interpretation, compliance oversight, and risk mitigation.
• Experience with talent management, workforce planning, and change leadership in complex environments.
• Healthcare industry experience is highly valued.
• SHRM-CP, PHR, or a comparable human resources certification is preferred.
