Job Description
Exciting opportunities are available for certified Special Education Teachers who are passionate about empowering students and making a meaningful impact in the classroom. Multiple contract positions are open for educators with an active EC General Curriculum license at both the elementary and middle school levels.
Openings include full-time roles as EC Resource Teachers at Fair Grove Elementary, a CASE Teacher (focused on Communication, Academics, and Social Engagement) in a self-contained classroom at Davis Townsend Elementary, and an EC Teacher at E. Lawson Brown Middle School. Additionally, a part-time EC Resource Teacher position is available at Silver Valley Elementary, serving K–2 students Monday through Thursday from 8:45 AM to 1:45 PM. All settings follow the General Curriculum, not the Adapted Curriculum.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active EC General Curriculum teaching license (Adapted Curriculum not accepted)
- Experience with or openness to working in maximum support, self-contained autism classrooms (required for Davis Townsend role)
- Ability to meet district credentialing, including background checks and compliance with state licensure
- Commitment to full-time or part-time schedules, depending on role (especially mandatory schedule adherence for Silver Valley Elementary)
- Strong ability to deliver and support grade-level general curriculum to students with diverse learning needs

- Develop, implement, and adapt instructional plans to meet individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Deliver engaging lessons aligned with general curriculum standards
