Job Title: Warehouse Material Handler / Forklift Operator

Location: San Diego, CA (92121)

Job Type: 5-Month Contract, Full-Time

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Warehouse Material Handler for a 5-month contract with a leading technology company in San Diego. In this role, you will assist with warehouse order picking, fulfill material requests for various programs, and support forklift operations for stocking and order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform material handling of warehouse inventory, including pulling, packing, boxing, and stocking devices.
• Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and order pickers safely for put-away and picking efforts.
• Physically and systematically transfer items, performing transactions within automated computer systems with 100% accuracy.
• Maintain focus and remain calm while multi-tasking in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 2–3 years of experience in material handling, warehousing, inventory control, shipping, or receiving.
• Equipment: Previous forklift experience is mandatory (prior forklift certification is highly preferred).
• Technical Skills: High-level computer proficiency is required. Must be comfortable with inventory systems and Microsoft Office. (Experience with Oracle, AIMS, or MRW is a strong plus).
• Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, basic arithmetic skills, and a strong attention to detail.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for 8+ hours per day, possess manual dexterity and good near/far eyesight, and ability to lift 25–50 lbs occasionally.
• Other: Must possess a good driving record.
