Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role is based near Manchester, CT, servicing a district-wide caseload. You’ll play a pivotal role in helping students develop their communication skills, making a meaningful impact from August 2026 through June 2027.
Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will be key as you work across multiple schools, providing engaging, evidence-based therapy for learners at all grade levels. This position offers 35-37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with the opportunity to collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license in Connecticut (or eligibility)
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a district-wide K-12 caseload efficiently
- Flexible and adaptable, comfortable working across multiple buildings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in K-12
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate records
- Consult with educators, caregivers, and other specialists for student success
- Monitor progress and adjust intervention plans as needed
- Support school teams during IEP meetings and collaborate on student programming
