Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Part-Time

Pay: Starting at $40/hour, based on education and experience
Shift: Nights | Varied
⏰ Schedule: 2 × 12-hour shifts per week / 24 hours per week

Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. The therapist will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team in acute and critical care settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to acute and critical care patients.
• Manage ventilator and BiPAP/CPAP equipment.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and analysis.
• Administer medications through nebulizers and metered-dose inhalers.
• Cross-train and assist with Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT).
• Monitor patients and provide appropriate respiratory interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Serve as a resource and support for the Respiratory Therapy Department.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher – Required
• Current Respiratory Therapist license – Required
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS – Required
• NRP – Highly Preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Local candidates are preferred.
