LHH is actively seeking an Supply Chain Coordinator for one of our top clients in Huntersville! This will be a contract opportunity with our client and will work a hybrid schedule to their office in Huntersville, NC.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Supply Chain Planning Coordinator to support supply chain planning, inventory management, supplier coordination, and merchandising operations.

This role serves as a key connection point between Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Merchandising, Distribution Center Operations, and Suppliers , helping ensure accurate system data, timely product availability, and efficient inventory flow.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to day-to-day planning activities while supporting broader supply chain and operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Management
  • Support day-to-day Supply Chain Planning and inventory management activities.
  • Review MRP and perform waterfall analysis to support inventory planning decisions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages, excess inventory, and supply risks.
  • Review open purchase orders to verify timing, quantities, SKUs, and system alignment.
  • Monitor inactive, discontinued, and low-demand SKUs and support product lifecycle activities.
  • Review discontinued inventory and support inventory disposition initiatives.
  • Review BOM and SKU inventory requirements to support projects and customer service needs.
  • Support inventory optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain supply chain reports, dashboards, trackers, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining supply chain metrics and scorecards.
Supplier & Inbound Coordination
  • Create, update, and maintain Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs) and related system transactions.
  • Coordinate inbound shipment activity, including container and ASN information required for receiving and processing.
  • Monitor supplier delivery schedules and coordinate ETA updates for critical projects and inventory requirements.
  • Track supplier shipments and communicate delivery updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Investigate and resolve delivery errors, shipment discrepancies, and vendor-related issues.
  • Coordinate component delivery changes and support expedited inventory requirements.
  • Research and resolve purchase order discrepancies, including GR/IR and invoice reconciliation issues.
Merchandising Support
  • Perform inventory reconciliation activities for finished goods and components.
  • Process Merchandising production files and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Maintain Merchandising purchase order dates and ensure system information remains accurate.
  • Provide shipment tracking information and coordinate vendor delivery updates.
  • Generate and review Merchandising production, customer order, and delivery reports.
  • Support Merchandising dashboard maintenance and reporting.
  • Manage Literature inventory levels and replenishment tracking.
Cross-Functional Planning & Reporting
  • Participate in weekly planning meetings and S&OP-related meetings and discussions.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Merchandising, Operations, Customer Service, and Suppliers to ensure accurate and timely information flow.
  • Communicate inventory constraints, delivery updates, and supply risks to key stakeholders.
  • Provide analytical support for supply chain and merchandising initiatives.
  • Support S&OP/SIOP planning activities as needed.
  • Participate in process improvement projects and other supply chain initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Inventory Management, Procurement, Operations, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and with external suppliers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
  • Experience supporting S&OP or SIOP processes.
  • APICS/ASCM certification or progress toward certification.
  • Experience with inventory planning, MRP, purchasing, or supplier management.
  • Experience supporting merchandising or product-related operations.

The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive problem solver who enjoys working with data and collaborating across teams. They should be comfortable identifying issues, researching root causes, communicating risks, and helping drive solutions.

The ideal candidate will also be able to balance detailed transactional work with broader supply chain priorities and demonstrate strong follow-through in a deadline-driven environment.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
