Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Psychologist license, or in the process of obtaining (please include this documentation with your application)
- At least one year of direct classroom experience, working with students in an educational setting
- Expertise in conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and supporting diverse student needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster collaborative relationships with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and participation in teacher in-service days, professional learning sessions, and parent-teacher conferences
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services to PK-8 students, including assessments, consultations, and evidence-based interventions
- Partner closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans and support services
- Facilitate small group or individual counseling, addressing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Participate in all teacher professional development and contribute insights during professional learning days
- Engage with families through conferences and regular communication to support student growth and learning
- Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation consistent with professional and district standards
